All About Chris!

Chris Bride plays keyboards in my favorate and the greatest band ever Uranium235.

He's been with band about three years. He's a really fun and friendly person and he's soooo cooool!!!
Heres some random facts I found about chris on the official Uranium235 website:
He's an Aries.
He's from Massachusetts and currently lives in Queens, NY.
His favorite band is Fear Factory.
His favorite U235 song to perform live is Scent Explosion.
When asked to give a message to his fans, Chris said:
Play or be played.
I recently asked Chris a few questions about the band and some other things and heres what he had to say...
What is the best thing about being in U235?
"Traveling, knowing you're a part of something that people love, and having a viable excuse for taking time off of work"
What other bands (if any) have you been in?
"Other bands...none around here been in a couple ones up in MA."
What are your influences?
"3. Influences....right now, Ministry, Zombie, Depeche Mode, Tori Amos, Chopin, Stabbing Westward, and the usuall bunch of industrialites."
What do you like to do on your down time?
"Spare time...work out/run/waste time online/try to write the next album"
When you were a child did you know you were going to be a musician?
"Yes"
When did you start playing music?
"started taking piano lessons at 5, been playing for as long as i could walk, probably longer."
What other instruments do you play?
"guitar, mandolin"
How are you affected by fan reactions? (Like how does it feel to be onstage knowing people are into what you're doing?)
"reactions....I get psyched, energized...being on stage is kinda like an ego trip, but I always try to remember where it's coming from (usually, it works)."
Where do you see Uranium235 one year from now?
"1 year from now...promising the nation that we'll be on tour soon and will have a new album (ha ha ha)"
What are your views on Napster?
"Napster....How would you feel if someone broke into your house and stole your CD collection? I'm not gonna try to justify having to pay $15 or more to get a CD, that is totally out of hand. If thats what's fueling the piracy, then thats the problem that has to be fixed. But if society decides not to put value on people artistic accomplishments, then fuck it. I'll just do this as a hobby and no one will hear what music we put out. Musicians change thier lives, they sometimes destroy thier lives for the sake of the music the create. I don't really know how else to put it. Fans love these bands but they don't give a shit whether they make thier rent at the end of the month."
