Theater

Theater

Everybody blinks
Look down the other’s nose
You’ve all your own theater
Center of life
You’re all what awareness is
I’m an extra in your being
As you are mine
And in that being
We all blink
Our bodies are the same from childhood
Just formed, same thing
Voice on a record
Unfamiliar in sound
But it’s yours and you don’t know
Your theater is personal
So much you can’t see you
The way can all we
Inside is yours, and it’s life
Outside you’re just another voice, head, body
How can eyes possibly be what they are?
How can goo spheres do the seeing?
What’s a body’s life?
How can it be a theater?
Where’s that theater’s edge?
