Rescue 23

This is a look at Rescue 23. It serves as our light-duty rescue and extrication vehicle. It is a 2003 4-wheel drive Chevrolet deisel extended cab that allows for seating of 4 to 5 personnel. This vehicle carries tools necessary for extrication or rescue such as a Phoenix combination tool and ram, stokes basket, air bags, air chisels, windshield cutters, cribbing for accidents, SCBA and chainsaw for ventilation assignments, cutting torch and numerous other hand tools.
