The Sandoval Fire Protection District proudly protects approximately 3,700 people living in an area of 106 square miles. Our ambulance service proudly protects approximately 4,000 persons in an area of 120 square miles. We operate out of one station that protects a primarily residential/rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination paid EMS/volunteer fire status. We have an ISO rating of 6 and 6/9. Our annual call load is generally in the 700 range which includes EMS and fire.
