One week after graduation, moved to Bloomington, Illinois and began my career with my current employer. I've worked for GROWMARK, Inc. and its predecessor companies (more commonly known as FS) since 1961, except for a 7-1/2 year "vacation" to be home with my two boys when they. were born. I started in the steno pool (this was on a typewriter---long before they had
computers), and I am now Executive Assistant to the CEO and to the Chairman of the Board and President. I've been married to my husband, Chuck Bruder, since 1962. He took early
retirement from G.E. over 3 years ago and is loving every minute of it. We built a new home in Bloomington nearly 5 years ago and live there with our calico cat, Sugar. Our two sons, Tim and Joe, are both out of college. Tim lives in the Chicago area and works
for DISH Network and has been engaged forever to Karla who works for Allstate. Joe lives in
Normal and works for Country Companies and is married to Trina who works at a credit union. Our only grandchild would be Smokey, Joe & Trina's cat.
My parents are Clarcncc & Arlene Morris, who live in Tiskilwa. AIl intercsting fact: My dad
is also a THS graduate --Class of 1937.
