Autumn Memories
The autumn leaves are turning
Warm campfires are buring
Hay rack rides, colder nights
God's creating a beautiful sight.
Racking leaves into a huge pile
Family time was always worthwhile
Every Halloween carving pumpkins
So many memories from back then.
The pumpkin festival in September
Cherished times I'll keep forever
Pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin chili
Loving times spent with my family.
Football games, Thanksgiving dinner
Autumn's ending, soon-to-be winter
Tomorrow we'll get our Christmas tree
Autumn has always been special to me.
God is always painting before our eyes
Every autumn's another beautiful surprise
I have so many beautiful autumn memories
And they'll always so very special to me.
