Halloween Memories
Halloween parties, several on my street
Halloween night, children trick-or-treat
Jack-o-lanturns always carved creatively
It's always special for the entire family.
Haunted houses, many of them in town
Pranks being pulled, many spooky sounds
Witches prepared to cast all their spells
And Ghost stories that people love to tell.
Varities of costumes hang in stores
Smiling children going door to door
Carmel apples, and Halloween games
Roaring campfires, everyone came.
It was quite a special childhood
Having as much fun as we could
Trick-or-treating with their father
Having fun with his son and daughters.
Of all my faded memories that are gone
Holiday memories will always go strong
For those are great times with family
And I'll never let those times leave me.
