Taillight Mod

For as long as I can remember, I always wished that the rear taillight lens across the trunk would light up in the middle, well now it does!

As you can see, I used standard 194 auto bulbs and folded down the connectors.

You can also see the four holes drilled through the body for the wires to go through.

Solder wire to the connectors and shrink wrap or tape them so they won't touch.

I used silicone to glue the bulb into the four holes I drilled  into the rear lens.

To the right you can see how I spaced them and the holes for the wires on the trunk above them.

I tied in all four red wires from the four bulbs to one red wire and that hooks into the green with white striped wire going to the rear tail lamp sockets connector.

I wired all four black wires from the bulbs into one black wire which I tapped into the black wire at the same rear tail lamp sockets connector.

I don't know about you, but I sure do feel a lot better.

It looks even better in person, the camera makes them looks separated but you get the idea.
