Wow. It has been many moons since our last update... and I take full responsibility for not putting the bong down and simply updating. Don't know why I haven't. It seems like no one here anyway. WHAT'S NEW with Dystopia? Well, they released "Dystopia" s/t in early 2008 if I remember correctly, and it was very well received... except for the occasional 15 year kid who didn't think it was "fast enough" it hasn't got nothing but great reviews. I personally put this up there with Human=Garbage and the Aftermath- easily- which is not surprising considering it is Dystopia. The artwork is immaculate, well worth the three year wait we had to endure. Are they playing live? As of yet no, and they hadn't planned to- and Todd suffered an arm injury which greatly affected his bass playing. Word of mouth is Todd is getting surgery, getting well, and are said to be planning to play sometime in 2010. So we'll wait and see. Order that album if you haven't, DL whatever.

...... i have heard.... a sound so mysterious and precious that it just might be the new Dystopia... and it was and is... and it is the most brutal, heavy, slow most depressing shit that they've come out with to date, and I got to hear it all. It's not coming out yet, no, I have heard that some of the new songs have leaked onto the internet and all that type of bullshit, but I got a CD with 7 out of 9 tracks (7 original Dystopia songs, 2 Carcinogen covers)..... it's pretty bad ass. I'm gonna hit up Mauz and shit soon to see what's up with the album actually coming out, but my ears were blessed enough to here the new Dystopia and it tickled my oogali googali..... so yeah. I'm NOT going to put the CD up here, I WILL NOT send it to you, but take my word.... Dystopia have grown with their sound, stuck to the kine lyric, and have delivered a masterpiece to say the pathetic least. More soon.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR BITCHES!!!!!! I got some more news... it's gotten a little better with the upcoming and last Dystopia album... In Mauz' own words.... "The final DYSTOPIA LP/CD is now looking at being released in Spring or Summer of 2007. The recording was finished in November of 2005 at Tim Green's LOUDER STUDIOS and has finally been sent off for mastering. It's just a matter of finishing up all the artwork.. which is taking forever as we're all super busy these days (well, maybe not Todd, but you know..) What more can i say.. other than we suck."
--- ASUNDER (Dino's other fucking brutally amazing band) just returned from an amazing tour of Japan w. CORRUPTED. Their newest CD "Works Will be Undone" has just been released by PROFOUND LORE out of Canada. It is an amazing piece of work to say the least!!
That's all I got on the news for now.... it's almost here!!!!!!

Hello everyone.... sorry for the lack of updates, it's just, there were none. So it's kinda hard to get that shit updated with no new information. The Good news???!?!?!? ARE YOU READY!!!!???
--- The final DYSTOPIA LP/CD will be released later this year on Life is Abuse. The recording was finished in November of 2005 and is in the process of being mastered and packaged w. artwork by the band. Dystopia also has an old track in new SF Graffiti documentary PIECE BY PIECE.... I was in Frisco when it came out, but didn't get a chance to see it. I did however see a lot of awesome work up there....

Cheers to the New Years!! I just found out that Todd (bassist) is also in a band called Mange with a member from Phobia (Bruce), Anubis Rising, Sumeria. Welcome to nothing new with the band yat again. I'm going to talk to Mauz soon again to see if he feels like telling us anything that is actually going, or actually might happen. I am (and know quite a few others) waiting for this third full length that they've been talking about for two years now.... I really hope it happens. They got a Dystopia myspace, so there is no new news there either. I just found another cool tatoo that this homie has got... so check it out.

Hello all human parasites. Dystopia has been really vague (moreso Mauz) about what is going on with the band... There were rumours going around about an apparent show with Grief- but last we heard (from the band) this isn't true at all. They are still "working" on the new album.
I'll update again once I know something solid (like dates and promises, hey- they're stoners, what'd ya expect??)

Sorry for no updates in like six months, I've been sorta busy and Dystopia really still haven't done anything recording wise. LifeIsAbuse Records has repressed the "Human=Garbage" LP on 12". They are out now and ready for you to con$ume.
Dystopia seem to give false recording dates, and honestly it has been a year since they were to first record some new material for the album that may never come out...that would suck. I'll of course update once again as soon as I find out anything new from the guys, till then, fuck off and die!

We are now trying to get the word out about this Dystopia site we have here, and we need your help! What do we need you to do? Please put a link on your site, tell a friend/foe, tell everyone you can! What will we do for you? We are going to put up a links page up on the site for your link if you can prove to us that you have put a link up or have told a friend. The kind folks over at CrustAsFuck.com have already added a link, and now it is time for you...haha! We are going to finish up working out some kinks (on my browser, non of the pages are loading properly, anyone else having this problem?). Alright, I am still finishing up on the lyrics page and stuff, it's only been incomplete for, oh, about 5 months!haha... I talked to Mauz again, he tells me the only thing he can guestimate is that the new and last Dystopia album MIGHT be out in the summer of 2005, I repeat the summer of 2005. No tours, no shows, nothing unitl the new album is done he tells me. As soon as I get more information on that, I'll update! Dystopia T-Shirts coming in soon!!!!!

Hey everyone, we just hit our 200 visitors mark on the site, and I really haven't done any advertising except on site that let me! No real news for Dystopia right now, Mauz told me that they probably won't get anything real done soon due to bizziness and so on. Maybe next year, it'll be out for us! It's the last one, so it better be fucking good!
I am redesigning a lot of the site right now, new graphics for links and so. I am also building a links page, other page, wisdom page, tour page, and merchandise page and finishing the lyrics page! This will take a while to do, so please check back in a week or so. My Dystopia T-Shirt collection continues at 5 different designs now, and I am wholesale ordering some for you all to con$ume from Mauz at Lifeisabuse.com soon!

Hello everyone! Nope... Not any new news about the band besides the news in previous updates. Dino's back is recovering I'm guessing and Mauz is well as well! (august 1,04) Hello everyone, we just got some bad news about Dystopia...No, they aren'y breaking up or anything! Don't worry about that! BUT, they have to put a pause on the new album right now because Dino (drums) has hurt his back and cannot playing until it is better. (July 25.,04)Well hello to all the people that just happend to come to the Dystopia site I have created to keep people up to date with them and stuff! Dystopia are currently working on the long awaited album, do out by the end of the year they tell me. Recording is going well, they just want to take it nice and slow! This Dystopia site will soon be moved and recreated under the new Peace and Love Records site. I am also working on tabs (correct tabs at that) right now to add to this site... I have learned even more so that i used to think that Dystopia are one of the most talented bands around. I have so far tabbed these complete songs: Hands That Mold, and Green Destroyed off of the HUMAN=GARBAGE album. More coming soon...!

(May 3rd, 04)-Welcome to the new and frequently updated Dystopia site. We really haven't seen any Dystopia site that is updated and maintained professionally in...well, never- so I took matter into my own hands. We haven't gotten everything finished right now at all, but as time fades away the site will gain more and will kick fucking a$$. Much to come, the closest thing to an "Official Dystopia" site you can come to...Fuck, even Mauz dug it and sent me some cool shit in rewards...
