Illinois 108 is an east-west route running from Kampsville, on the Illinois River, to I-55 east of Carlinville and north of Litchfield. Like most other routes with numbers in the 100's (as in 100-109), it runs in west-central Illinois.
Intersections from west to east:
IL100 at Kampsville*
US67 at Carrollton
IL267 near Rockbridge
Then IL108 joins IL111 south
1 mile later, it breaks off and heads east again
IL4 joins IL108 from the north at Carlinville
Soon after, it breaks off to head south again
Then IL108 ends at I-55.
It passes through these towns: Carrollton and Carlinville.
*- Only a block or two after it begins at IL100, IL108 crosses a ferry at the Illinois River. It is one of two ferries that cross the river, and admission is free. For more information, see the IDOT site for the ferries, here.
