WaLL FlowerS
These guys have actually been around for about eight years, in some form,
and of course, now they're getting really big.
Jakob is, of course, the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The
Wallflowers. As if you didn't know, he's also the son of folk/rock star Bob
Dylan. He started out studying art at the Parsons School of Design in New
York, but went back to L.A. to put together a band instead, and the rest is
history. He is married, and he and his wife Paige have a toddler son, and
are expecting a new baby any time now.
He plays all the keyboard
instruments like the Hammond B3 and the piano, and he really rocks. He's
also the only other veteran Wallflower besides Jakob. He and his wife
Alicia became parents late last summer, too.
Michael does background vocals, but his main spot is lead guitar. He's
definitely no stranger to this business.He's a real trip to watch when he's playing.
He also likes to bike, and just very recently got married. Congratulations,
Mike!
Greg is the bass player for The Wallflowers, and he's no stranger either,
considering that he went to the same high school as Jakob for a while, and
jammed together with him for a while when they were just kids. Talk about
having a history together.
Also the son of a musician, Mario is The
Wallflowers' drummer. He's been playing since second grade, often
jamming with his dad and other musicians. He really plays hard and he
plays good, and he's really entertaining to watch behind that drum set, too.
