Here are some comments and questions from someone who is afraid of the judgment that is coming. That is entirely understandable. What should we do in these fearful times?
COMMENT: Prophecy is so new to me, even what's in the Bible. I get the distinct impression that the prophecy you receive now interprets, or at least points to what part of the bible - the Word already received - that God is bringing to our attention. I can see that that's not all - He also gives you words about things not covered in scripture.
OUR ANSWER: Prophecy is nothing more than saying what God is saying. It is either from what you hear God say, or what God shows you. In the Scriptures they said what God showed them. That is a good way to describe what has happened: He shows what He says now, and He ties it to the Scriptures by bringing to our attention how it has happened in the past.
COMMENT: Pointing to scripture that is relevant now - the scripture from 2Chronicles 7:14 that God promises to hear us and heal our land if we humble ourselves and pray - does your prophecy: (The Dust of Repentence, The Sword and the Wheat, Jesus Cleanses Himself, The Door to Revival), mean that this is not something extended to us anymore? Or did the prophecy mean that it just wouldn't happen - that the churches and their leaders would not do it?
OUR ANSWER: Well, don't know if they will repent or not. Look how far it has gone. This nation is filled with violence. Bloodshed of innocent ones by the millions, and homosexuality rampant in the nation, and the church is indifferent, obsessed with whether or not they are going to get blessed by God themselves. The Father says: "The church has a heart of STONE."See God as a person. He IS a person. Look at things from His perspective. If we are His children, and this is how we act, what is He supposed to do? Israel in the past was shown miracles by Him. They were His beloved people. When they rejected Him, what was He supposed to do? Their rejection was always coupled with wickedness. He tells Israel at one point, "you have filled Jerusalem with blood." Here in the USA, we not only do not know our own God, but we have filled our cities with the blood of babies. That innocent blood cries out for vengeance. We better understand, that HE HEARS THAT CRY. And the blood of the innocent is only the tip of the iceberg. We have not even started to address the fullness of the sin of which this nation is guilty. It is fearful on an individual basis to think of the judgment that is coming, but on a nation-wide scale it is well deserved. We know that His judgment is terrible. The Father is not willing that any should perish, but what else can He do?
COMMENT: I read some of this - and feel like giving up. I would be mown down. I am growing in Christ, but I am not ready for the persecution you speak of. I don't ever see myself facing it and staying obedient. I'm still struggling to be holy like Him. What happens to joe shmoe's like me? More stubble to be burned away? Only judgement?
OUR ANSWER: This life is just a vapor. All that occurs to us in this life is just a drop in our existence. We are eternal beings, who will forever be in joy with the Father. And He has gone a step further than offering us a secure home with Him forever. He can be known here on earth. He will draw close, by His Spirit, to those on earth who want Him, and love Him, and will obey Him.The disaster will have this effect - many will cry out to Him, and some will come to Him in repentance. That could all have been avoided if we would come to Him now, and then live by the model He has given us. However, for those of us, few that we are, who want Him in this dark world, He will draw near, now and during and after the disaster. He is a friend who is closer than a brother. He speaks, and thinks and shares His thoughts, and loves and shows His love, and offers His friendship, to any who come to Him. We know this is so, because we know Him, and because He says it is so. Friend, there is no joe schmoe to Him. Each person is precious and individually loved by Him. When He created man, He saw that each man was good. We are all valuable to Him, even though it was because of our sins, that His Son had to die. We are afraid of the disaster for us, look at the disaster that His Son went through.
However, He knows we are human - "but dust", He says. He knows our frailties and fears. He will be with us and reassure our hearts. He will supernaturally take away the fear as we come to Him, and begin to trust Him. He will begin to reveal Himself in a very real way - Spirit to spirit. He is love, and you will discover this to be true, as you learn to know Him better. He loves His lambs, like you, who want Him. He will feed you. He will answer any questions that you have, and He will show you Himself, as you wait on Him. The crucial thing is to trust Him and wait on Him.
As you wait, He will be faithful to draw near. And you can ask us anything. If there is something that you wonder concerning Him, or what He has said or written either to us, or in the Scriptures, please write and ask. Our goal is to point people to the throne room of the Father. The door is open, and people may come in. We call this the Table of the Remnant because He told us to do so. He said it represents HIS Table, which is in the heavenlies. There you can go, and receive from Him, His will, His heart, and His love. And we will continue to teach all that He shows us to be true. What exactly is the church teaching that is wrong and what is right? Why don't they have Him when they claim they do? Why exactly is He displeased with the church? What is He thinking in this day? Why were we created, and how can we know Him? Will He speak to ME? How can we handle the tribulation that is coming? These are some of the questions that people have, and He wants them to have answers to ALL their questions. Above all, He wants people to know that they can know Him themselves.
So, friend, you really can trust Jesus. He is love. He loves you and knows your fears. He loves you and wants to teach you, and to draw you closer. It is sobering to open the door to prophecy and look in, because of the state of the church and the world today, but it doesn't do any good to hide our heads in the sand either. If we hide in our churches with our heads hidden in our Bibles, then what will occur will still occur, but we will not be prepared. WHAT SHOULD WE DO? The way to be prepared is to know the Father. He will show us what to do, and will be with us while we do all that He asks. The Father promises, we will not be destroyed with the tares. In the book of Revelation, we see that John was on the isle of Patmos. That was painful for John. It was prison. Yet, he was "in the Spirit" on the Lord's day. The same is true of us. We will be in the Spirit, as we follow Jesus. And remember, the culmination of all these events is the return of Jesus Himself. He will physically come to the earth, during this generation. What a joyous day that will be!
