IF MAN KNEW THE FATHER

The Father told me one time that He wanted to give back to man the authority over the earth, and He will do so. It isn't exactly that it is in the enemy's hands. I know that this is taught in the church and in a sense it is so, but mostly man leaves it up to God. They expect Him to do everything. They act as though He has a magic wand, instead of being a loving Being, who can be known, and has reason and purpose for everything that He does. When man's own actions bring about consequences, God is expected to "answer prayer" and get us out of trouble, no matter the cause of the problem.

I remember how shocked I was when I asked the Father to do something for my 15 year old nephew, and the Father replied, "Why should I?" I saw, as He sees, that my sister did not raise her son to live right, or to consider his own ways, so as a consequence, his actions were getting him into trouble. But why was I asking the Father to do something, when the problem was the result of sin? He sent His Son to be crucified, what more should He do? Should He allow my sister to sin, and raise her son in sin, and then wave a wand to make things all right? On what grounds was I asking Him? Was my sister repentant and seeking Him for forgiveness? The answer is that she was not. I never saw it from the Father's perspective before.

Man would blame the devil for the problems in my nephew's life, and would not see the responsibility of the failure on the parents. Who were they to live a life so careless of God, and what is right, and to raise their children to do the same? The parents were church-goers.

I really had no good answer to give to the Father, as to "Why should He" but I asked Him to have mercy on the behalf of my father, who while alive, did love Him. The Father said, "For the sake of My servant Delbert, I will do something." (Delbert was my Dad's name.) The Father brought my nephew to live with me for several months. Then I had the opportunity to present to him the manner of life we should live.

The point of that example is that man has his problems, many of which he brought about on himself, and then he wants God to intervene. Also, the enemy deceives men, but man is ready and willing to be deceived. Why do they not love the truth, and above all, WHY DON'T THEY ASK THE FATHER, concerning everything, so they can know the truth? Then, if they do what He shows, they will avoid the problems that THEY bring about.

The Father has given His ideas for living a just and good life; they are contained in the laws that were given to Moses. I am not talking about the eating of pork, or rules that may or may not have to do with specific problems relating to health, i.e. the lack of refrigeration etc. I am talking about laws of love - if you love someone do not covet what they have. Rather, ask Me, and I will give you exactly what you need. If you love your parents, honor them, and I will be pleased, because this is right and good, and I will respond and give you long life. If you love someone, do not steal from them. If you love, do not murder etc. The Father is good and loving and would not act in this manner, so He lays out the blueprint of what a good and loving life is like.

If man trusted the Father, and acted according to what HE said, then many problems would be eliminated. And if man knew the Father, the enemy's suggestions would be easily recognizable, just by the fact that they are not true, and man would know that the Father's ways are the most sensible and good, and would not be deceived by Satan. Instead, man could be trusted to see the truth, to know the Father, and to raise his children or run governments, in a reasonable and trustworthy manner.

This is what the Father wants to do: He wants to give the authority over the earth back to man. It is only right that it should be thus. Jesus will bear the government on His shoulders, but we must also bear a part. We must know Him, and know what is good, and what is evil. And we, who brought sin into this world, must participate in standing against sin, and against the enemy. And, as His Bride, we can do this. We can be Eve, to His Adam, and become one with Him, and see what He sees, and judge as He judges, and love as He loves. We can grow up and be mature, as we were created to be.
