I saw again a huge white horse, muscles rippling,
prancing and rearing back. And I saw the purple robe the Rider wore and then became aware that
He was wearing a crown. But this time it was a crown of gold. (See "A Move of Righteousness,"
August 16, 1999).
Again, I became aware of a tremendous number
of people towards the front of the Rider. As before, they were in rows across and there were more
rows behind those in front as far as the eye could see. While I saw that the people were still not a
normal color, it was evident their greyish color had diminished and they were looking much more
normal. And I didnt see the shackles and chains on their wrists and on their ankles. Instead
many were wielding swords with arms upraised. They no longer appeared to be a string of paper doll
cutouts and no longer presented a dark and dreary scene. Whereas before I saw the Rider with a huge
double-edged sword in His right hand uplifted and ready to strike with the sword, I got the impression
that this had already been done.
I knew that this scene signified the arrival, by
way of an announcement, of the Commander-In-Chief of the army of the Lord. And, at the same time,
indicated they were ready, willing and able to follow Him.
Many of the people had been set free from the
bondage of man-made traditions and theology that was preventing the building of Gods temple
of living stones that are Gods instruments for bringing in His desired harvest.
However, there are still problems with equipping
this army with the arms that are needed to make the necessary advances into the enemys
territory.
Many have failed to fully articulate the problems
that are preventing them from overcoming the traditions and theology which have paralyzed the saints
of God from achieving the victory their Commander-In-Chief has already won.
This failure to fully articulate the problem has
resulted in the saints being unable to arrive at the correct answers to bring the church into the will
of Gods plans for them.
The underlying problem is one of attitude. The
attitude that suggests that our current comfort zones are to be preferred to those of an overcoming
army.
Jesus Christ said: ... upon this rock I will
build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys
of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:18,19.)
The question God would ask of His beloved saints,
those who comprise the church to whom Jesus spoke these words is:
Do you want to be overcomers or overcomforted?
