This page is dedicated to my grandfather, Jewel F. Fogle (Appy),
who began walking
the beaches of Heaven
December 9, 1996.
Appy can I go?
This is the next time you promised me so,
Mama said I could..
Sitting in the front seat eating an ice cream cone,
I wrap him around my finger tighter then my baby ring.
A tear goes a long long way when your Appy's little girl.
What will you do when Appy's gone?
When your Appy's little girl.
Walking down the isle,
My bouquets shaking,
But he's holding on tight,
To the little girl I am,
And the woman I will become
Because I can't stay Appy's little girl.
He listened when I made mistakes,
That I wouldn't have if I would have done it his way!
He holds me tight when I cry,
He beams so bright when he looks at me,
He taught me to drive when I was a wild thing,
He loved me all through..just for being me!
Now what am I gonna do now that Appy's gone.......
AND I'M STILL APPY'S LITTLE GIRL!!!!
Peace of mind comes from not wanting to change others,
But accepting them as they are.
True acceptance is always without demands and expectiations.
