Immediate Objective:
"Entry Level" Computer Programmer or Web Designer in Excel+Access+Visual
Basic 6, C and C++, Visual C++, Java 2, & Forte For Java, ColdFusion,
JavaBeans, JavaScript, VB Script, Perl, cgi/Perl, XML - Oracle9i, HTML,
DHTML, XHTML, XML; VRML, Java 3D API, Macromedia Dreamweaver, M~ Fireworks,
"The Gimp". Also: Technical Writer, Teaching Assistant, Corporate
Trainer in inter or intra-business communications / outsource for
time-efficient upgrades of computer users' software skills*.
Polymath. Recent and past college work at various solid academic institutions
(please see below) have always protracted to self-directed studies;
continuing courses to satisfy my own levels. As relates to computer programming
and E-commerce, it remains for me to tie things together into competencies
born of on-the-job experience/employment.
Seeking a full-time, 7:00 --[…] opportunity, but I would consider other schedules;
Consulting -- agency arrangement is fine, could discuss an intern
arrangement. Currently working independently yet zealously, optimizing,
insofar as this is possible in a "solo" insular environment, depth,
breadth, and pace. I could start tomorrow developing software development
solutions, under your direction with requisite specifications; or begin on a
more abstract project in terra incognita, starting from, perhaps
occasionally amorphously proposed quest, perhaps bounded only by inchoate
questions. Position might,
though needn't necessarily, draw on one or more aspects of my
broad-based curriculum vitae, as: e.g. Programmer / Technical Writer,
External / Internal Project Communications Liaison, Economic and/or Market
Model Algorithmist / Enterprise Developer, Web site designer or E-commerce
Consultant.
Note: demonstrated affinities for and similar delight in, other functional
symbolic systems, such as music theory and composition; Mathematics; Latin,
Greek, and Sanskrit grammar comparative analysis. Clarifying -- to drop a
rose -- Umberto Eco, the signs and symbols, signification v. communication,
et al., Prof. at the U. of Bologna, and Frege's Math. logic work too, are my "close personal
friends". Champions in the arena of matching thought, world, life, ____
to other media, experimentalists: M. Heidegger, J.L. Borges, W.S. Burroughs,
J. Cage, and the team that translated Joyce's Ulysses into Chinese, bouquet
this point.
[*Comfortable with various professional graphics programs and techniques;
also Microsoft Word, Excel, Access; Lotus WordPro, 1-2-3; Freelance Graphics;
other projects have included ambitious multimedia initiatives and animation.
Quick to learn new and changing technologies. Thinking, in that
process, how I might teach it; with the aim of optimizing time and (a
company's) talent.]
Second Objective Group: Academic and technical writing, and teaching, in
Computer Science, Math, Internet, E.E., and Physics. Targeting the needs
obtaining in the arenas of business, government, education, social services,
or wherever there are didactic lags v. people-technology operations; where,
as such, opportunities for moving forward are underutilized, or perhaps not
always clearly seen.

(Parsimonious Proactive Paragraph Postscript:) I don't walk around babbling in 'Réuméspeak'; but why lay myself into Procrustes' bed here? I am honest; hardworking; dependable; persevering; a creative/original thinker; adaptive; and problem solving -- arts talented -- all of which subtotals to: rara avis in terris, nigroque simillima cygno*. Allegation: I am easy to work with -- modest and self-effacing around others, (outside this somewhat strident CV). Long-term demonstration on request. Somewhat, he says...
*rara avis in terris, nigroque simillima cygno: An extremely rare bird, and very like a black swan (supposed not to exist). The first four words are often used ironically].
