                    KAISER PERMANENTE CLINIC DIET

 

                    Day 1           Breakfast              1/2 Grapefruit

                                                                   1 slice toast

                                                                   2 TBS. Peanut Butter

                                               

                                       Lunch                    1/2 cup tuna

                                                                   1 slice toast

                                                                   coffee or tea

 

                                       Dinner                  3 oz any meat

                                                                   1 cup beets

                                                                   1 cup green beans

                                                                   1 small apple

                                                                   1 cup vanilla ice cream

 

                    Day 2           Breakfast              1 egg

                                                                   1 slice toast

                                                                   1 banana

                                                                               

                                       Lunch                    1 cup cottage cheese

                                                                   5 saltine crackers

 

                                       Dinner                  2 hot dogs

                                                                   1 cup broccoli

                                                                   1/2 cup carrots

                                                                   1/2 banana

                                                                   1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

 

                    Day 3           Breakfast              1 hard-boiled egg

                                                                   1 slice toast

                                                                               

                                       Lunch                    5 saltine crackers

                                                                   1 oz. cheddar cheese

                                                                   1 small apple

 

                                       Dinner                  1 cup tuna

                                                                   1 cup beets

                                                                   1 cup cauliflower

                                                                   1/2 cantaloupe

                                                                   1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

 

          This diet works on a chemical breakdown and is proven to work.  Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods.  Salt and pepper may be used but NO other seasonings.  This diet is to be used for 3 days at a time.  In 3 days you will lose 10 lb.  After 3 days of dieting, you can begin your normal diet, but don’t over do it.  After 4 days of normal eating you may go back on the 3-day diet.  You can lose up to 40 lb. in a month if you stick to this diet.  It is a safe diet.
