Howdy mina-san! I'm just dropping a quick note to give credit where it's due. I'd like to give a big shout-out and Arigato to my friend Sailor Butterfly who helped me to write this part by giving lots of support ^_^ And a HUGE big Arigato to Celestia who actually wrote some of this part ^_^ You both are great ^^
"A Not so Crystal Clear Destiny"
What if Sailor Moon had been kidnapped and brain washed by the Negaverse instead of Tuxedo Mask? What would Darien have done? Who would take over as the leader of the Sailor Scouts? How would Serena's family and other friends react to her disappearance? These are just a few of the questions that I intend to answer in this story of what if.

While Darien and Malachite's fight was just starting; the battle between Mercury and Queen Beryl was just heating up. Having just narrowly dodged an attack, Mercury was down on one knee breathing heavily.
"Now you're mine," Beryl shrieked as she formed an ice crystal and hurled it at Mercury.
Mercury looked up and gasped in shock and terror, freezing like a deer caught in the headlights.
"Mercury," Darien called as he produced a rose and flung it at the ice crystal, shattering it.
"Blast you all," Beryl shouted as she began fading away after being struck through the chest by a large shard of the crystal. "You haven't see the last of me…" her voice faded away.
"Darien look out," Mercury cried as Malachite pulled out a crystal dagger, and stabbed him with it.
"Ugh…" came the sound from Darien's throat as he stumbled backwards.
"You coward," Mercury screamed. Suddenly the Silver Crystal reacted to her emotion by sending a strong pulse of energy into Malachite making him fly back and knocking him unconscious.
Darien began to make his way back over to Serena before collapsing a few feet away from her.
Serena lay between waking and dreaming, her mind was in overload. She was trying to make sense of the past few weeks… She remembered kissing Malachite… and almost becoming his wife. And even though she was unconscious at the time, images of her friends' deaths flooded her mind… "NOOO," she screamed as her eyes flung open and she sat up.
"Serena," Mercury cried happily running to her princess, "Are you ok," she asked while scanning Serena.
"Ye-yes… I-I think so, Ami," Serena sighed, holding her head. Suddenly she felt a strong pain in her heart… part of her was dying… She looked to the left and saw Darien lying there with the crystal dagger in his chest. "DARRIEN," she cried looking at her prince whose color was fading fast. "Ami, you have to help him…" Serena sobbed, burying her head into Mercury's shoulder, "God he can't die, he just can't…"

She's awake! Serena's finally awake! But what will happen to Darien? I guess you'll have to wait and see ^_^
