Interview with the Ducks
Anaheim's Ace reporter, Troy Furgursen walks into the room and sits on a leapord print couch, across him were the Ducks. Present there were: Wildwing, Nosedive, Mallory, Grin, Tanya, Duke, Candy, Turbulence, Quacker Jax, me, Psi, Lins and Neolofa.
Troy: So, how does it feel to be hockey playing aliens?
Wildwing: *Sighs* Let's get two things straight here, Troy. One, we are not aliens. Secondly, don't even ask.
Troy: That bad, huh? Do people scream when they see you?
Nosedive: *Nods* Yeah. They're like 'Aaah!' and we're like 'Wow. What's this guy's problem?'
Mallory: *Jabs Dive in the ribs* No, that does not happen. Stop making things up, Dive.
Nosedive: Party pooper.
Troy: What about your opponents? Are they nervous when they play against you?
Grin: Yes. But, they have no choice but to confront their fears.
Neolofa: *Rolls her eyes* Oh, brother.
Troy: What do you guys like most about people?
Duke: Most? *Troy nods* Well, I like their sense of fashion, their hair -
Nosedive cuts him off
Nosedive: I like Thrash and Mookie's hair.
Troy: Who are Thrash and Mookie?
Tanya: They're two kids who helped us when we first got to Anaheim. They are clerks in a comic store, and they're hairstyles are... you know, ugh. Personally, I'd like them better if they were working in an Electrical Store.
Lins: *smirks* Their hairstyles? What about yours? Have you been to the mirror lately, Tanya?
Quacker Jax: *Hugs Tanya* Watch it. She's my wife, you know.
Troy: You and Tanya are married?
Tanya and Quacker Jax: Yeah.
Troy: What does it feel like to have fans screaming your name sometimes, and people taking your pictures?
Nosedive: I love it! Lookit all the babes!
Neolofa: I love it! Especially when out of nowhere, our faces are on the front page of the Sports Section every morning.
Psi: Her ego is terribly large. *Grins*
Troy: What about your families? Do you miss them?
Turbulence: Terribly. I should be back at Puckworld, helping refugees, but I won't let Dragaunas have all the fun. I want a piece of him.
Troy: What do you alll have in common? Uh, besides being Ducks and chasing after Dragaunas and his henchmen.
Wildwing: Well, I don't know what we have in common, but all I know that we Ducks are very good friends.
Ducks: Yeah. Right on.
Troy: Do you think you'll make it to the Stanley Cup this year?
Wildwing: *Scratches chin* I don't know. I mean, the OTHER Mighty Ducks team lost to the Bruins, and the Flyers are doing very well this year. But.. we'll try.
Troy: That's the spirit.
Nosedive: Any more questions? I'd kinda like to get back at reading my comics, you know.
Troy: No. But I have one question left, a very important question.
Psi: What?
Troy: How long are you gonna be here?
Mallory: *Shrugs* I don't know. That's up to the Disney Cartoonists.
Troy: Thus, ends a very pleasant afternoon interview with the Ducks. It was nice interviewing you.
