This past December I saw Cabaret at Studio 54. Wow! What a fantastic show and what a thrill to be in Studio 54. Alan Cumming stole the whole show. He is an incredible performer, a real cutie, and as an actor he is much better live than in the movies. (You would know this if you have seen Spice Girls or seen Alan as Sandy Fink in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.) Also, the entire concept of the stage direction was very intense. In my opinion, more intense than the famous movie version. Other noted performers were Ron Rifkin, Blair Brown, and Leenya Rideout. If you have a chance go and see it before Alan Cumming moves on.
