In the Wait

Lord, provide me the strength,
That I may not screw this up.
Give me the patience I need,
Especially when it appears to be hard.
Remind me that she's worth the wait.
For I know in my heart that she is.
Mold both of us in your perfect plan,
And bring us together when the plan allows.
I pray that she draw close to you
Each day that we are "apart".
I pray we grow close to each other
Each day that we are "apart".
We know this is all under control,
And praise be to you that it's not by us.
Yet in the wait, provide us strength,
That we may not screw this up.
