Laziness

Laziness strikes me like an overloaded truck
It places me in situations where I am nothing but stuck
I often must ask, "What am I to do from here"
And beg for a response from one that is dear
One to hear my cry and reach down and grab me from the pit
Until again on stable land I am able to sit
Perhaps Peter was lazy instead of "ye of little faith"
His laziness caused him to fall below the crushing waves
He cried for God to reach out and pull him up
When just like me, he was feeling "nothing but stuck"
But also like me, Jesus reaches out his strong arm
For me to grab ahold and pull me from harm

OH! Dear God hear my cry and reach out your arm

PLEASE!!!
