The Tap

The man walks along
Not thinking of course for he's done no wrong
In HIS mind that is
Burdens quite heavy he'll choose to dismiss

Why should he worry
He can do anything he is quite free
Does what he can
"I'm fine by myself, oh yes I can stand."

The gentle breeze blows
Something taps on his shoulder, and he knows
He was wrong this time
This time like others, it took no big sign

He received a tap
When he deserved a large slap
What could it have been
For a new life is about to begin

A tap's all it takes
A lesson is learned without a big shake
The source is now shown
The man receives it as his very own
