Hidden messages are hard to read
That's why you confuse me
I don't understand what you're thinking
And deeper in the question I am sinking

Questions of "what", questions of "why"
Questions and questions beyond the sky
I don't understand your longing to leave
A friend behind, a FRIEND in me

Yes, I'm a friend that you'd leave behind
I don't understand what's going through your mind
How could you ever want to die
And leave but a note that just says, "bye"

You'll leave me behind, but I will now follow
Instead I'll stay here and weep in my sorrow
The choice is now yours, do not leave me here
And never again cause me this fear
