Helen Lucille Borne
She was born Sept 24 1916 in Magley, IN
( to Albert Rudolph Borne and Myrtle Tutwiler)
She was the only child born of this marriage .
Myrtle died fifteen days later.
Helen was raised by her Grandmother Elizabeth Borne. She was a Preemie baby and needed special care. Grandma Elizabeth was well trained in taking care of tiny infants. Her father was Dr. Louis Easterday. I was told mom was so small she could fit in a shoe box.
Helen and Russell were married on May 18 1936 in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Ft. Wayne IN.
She died March 1963 in St. Joe Hospital of cancer.
Helen is buried in the Catholic Cemetary in Ft. Wayne
