Joke A man runs into the vet's office carrying his dog, screaming for help. The vet rushes him back to an examination room and has him put his dog down on the examination table. The vet examines the still, limp body and after a few moments, tells the man that his dog, regrettably, is dead. The man, clearly agitated and not willing to accept this, demands a second opinion. The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat and puts the cat down next to the dog's body. The cat sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, poking and sniffing the dog's body and finally looks at the vet and meows. The vet looks at the man and says, "I'm sorry, but the cat thinks that your dog is dead, too." The man is still unwilling to accept that his dog is dead. So the vet brings in a black lab, the lab sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, and finally looks at the vet and barks. The vet looks at the man and says, "I'm sorry, but the lab thinks your dog is dead too." The man, finally resigned to the diagnosis, thanks the vet and asks how much he owes. The vet answers, "$650." "$650 to tell me my dog is dead?!" exclaims the man. "Well," the vet replies, "I would only have charged you $50 for my initial diagnosis. The additional $600 was for the cat scan and lab tests."

Poem To Those Who Love & Those Who Love Me When I am gone, release me, let me go- I have so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourself to me with tears, Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess How much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have each shown. But now it is time I traveled alone. So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must, Then let your grief be comforted by trust, It is only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart, I will not be far away, for life goes on, So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near. And if you listen with your heart, you will hear All my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home"

Breed Spotlight

Polish Tatra Sheepdogs
Personality- Tatras are loving, affectionate, and easygoing. They are reserved around strangers and extremely loyal. Bred to protect livestock from wolves and theft, Tatras take their role as a guardian seriously and are fearless when confronted.
Ideas of fun- Showing off to its flock of white wooly sheep by chasing mountain lions, intimidation bobcats, and outsmarting wolves.
Ideal homes- Wyoming sheep ranch with a few fences and lots of coyotes.
Perfect match- Any livestock rancher who prefers natural predator control.
Be forewarned- Although Tatras can make wonderful family pets, their elevated sense of loyalty predisposes them to being a one-person dog. They require lots of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Also, that long, thick coat, that helps Tatras withstand European winters, sheds profusely.

How many dogs does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Golden Retriever: "I'll be glad to change the light bulb for you, but first can't we play catch with the tennis ball, or Frisbee - and then I want to lick your face and rest my head in your lap and look up at you with my sad eyes. What, you're changing the light bulb yourself - you didn't have to do that - but I looooove you so much for being my friend and doing that."
