Lancaster coach of the year

After turning an abysmal 2-16 Hamilton Tigercats football club in 1997 to Grey Cup finalists in 1998, Ron Lancaster respectively won the Coach of the Year award. The official announcement took place Wednesday night in Edmonton at the Westin Edmonton Hotel. Lancaster's Tigercats finished the year with an unbelievable 12-5-1 record to finish tops in the Canadian Football League last season. Lancaster has also won Coach of the Year honors with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1997.
