Pringle stays with Alouettes

GM Jim Popp announced Wednesday that Mike Pringle had signed to a two
year deal with
the Montreal Alouettes football club. Jim Popp showed his satisfaction
with the deal
claiming that he was extremely happy that Mike has chosen to stay with
the team. "Mike is
without a doubt the best running back in the league and his contribution
will be a great
addition to our offense."
"I have decided to stay in Montreal for personal and professional
reasons," said Mike
Pringle. "I like Montreal and the Alouettes' fans are great. Football is
getting very popular
here and I am happy to be back and contribute to the team's success.”
Last season Mike Pringle rushed for 2065 yards on 347 carries breaking
two CFL records,
also tying another CFL record, which he owned when he gained 2414 yards
from
scrimmage. This all proving Mikes importance on the Montreal Alouettes.
