_V'tor_
-Has my favorite disadvantages, and the RHW+Sub+Uni gives a good, flexible
production base. Telepathy means that -10 to Spy is null, I have a
diplomatic bonus, slow assimilation doesn't matter, and I don't have to
build transports.

+'s: Sub, RHW, Tel, Unification
_Kal'nar_
Still the same -'s, but this time I went more towards money and research,
and less towards production bonuses.

This time I took -'s to attack and defense, and also had a PHW, rather than
using Low-G. Tolerant and Subterannian combined to give me more people,
lots of production, and no pollution. Cybernetic let my ships repair, and,
since there was no pollution factor, there was no early production penalty
brought on by having my production eaten. Since you get Ind bonuses faster
than Farming bonuses, you actually build up more quickly!

_Sum'par_
The main thrust of this race was to yield a lot of production with the
incredeble Lith/Tol combo (no food req, so lots of people & lots of
production w/no pollution!). I did have a -25% thanks to LG, but that only
lasted until PGG came about. I don't use scientists much, so that penalty
meant little (focus was on prod. anyway!).

I have a race but it only works in Pre-Warp:
Creative, +2 research, democracy, large home world, -10 spying, -10 ground
combat and low-g world.

This is the best custom for those of you who like to cheat in MOO2(all tech cheat-einstein)
Attributes: Uncreative (you wont need tech), Telepathic, Rich Homeworld, Large Homeworld
-10 Ground Combat (hey, you're telepathic!), -1 Research (you already got all the techs), +100% Growth, +10 Ship Combat
By now you should have 2 pics left...leave them! When you use the all-tech cheat (einstein) you will get 4 more pics due to evolution,
use those combined with the 2 left over to get +2 Production (or whatever the highest +production is, i forget).
That will lead you to total success (but with cheats on total success isn't to hard to come by!)

Space Pirates
pros: Uni, Warlord, High-G, +2 Ground Combat
cons: -BC, Replusive
This one's alot of fun. The lack of trade treaties and cash flow FORCE
this collection of rogues to persue a policy of high seas robbery. In
fact, they don't use missiles or beams at all on their ships. Instead
they research every ground combat tech then capture enemy ships which
are then scrapped to keep from going bankrupt. The game gets too easy
when some silly Anterran tourist falls into their clutches.
Kraken
pros: Aqua, Sub, +100 Growth, AHW
cons: -GC, -Spy, Low-G
These masters of the dark and watery grottos grow explosively and reach
huge populations. Pity their slaves, who are also crammed into such
lightless depths (to offset the gravity penalty on high-G worlds).
NeoMeklar
pros: Uni, Tol, Cybernetic
cons: Uncreative, -Ship Defense, -BC
An unstoppable juggernaut. Their goal is the ARU battleship (for twice
the regeneration) or a dampner field titan, but anything with armor will
do. If this were the Borg, I'd start packing, Picard.
