Interests:  Having extensive experience in practicing medicine for the last decade I am in a good position to use the domain knowledge that I have gained to help in evolving an effective CRS. The training I have had while pursuing a MSc (health informatics) in the University of Wales Swansea makes me confident in taking on a challenging role such as CRS application anlyst. I have been doinig medical IT work for the last five years unofficially for my department in UAE. I have designed and maintained the department website which made communication amongst the A&E staff very easy. I also designed and implemented a patient registration system on MS Access and we created a LAN connecting three PCs. The patients benefited a lot from easy accessibilty to their data and my work was recognised by the A&E Department Head in writing. We were in the process of implementing a mini PACS system using digital capture technology to cut down the time patients in the A&E wasted at the X-ray bay. I am at home using computers and regularly use MS word, excel, access, frontpage, outlook, photoeditor. I develop my webpages writing raw HTML code. I have some understanding of Visual Basic and C++ languages. This job is an opportunity for me to be involved in the intricacies of EPR and as a first step to develop a care records service. The NHS is venturing on a remarkable and bold venture to capture patient data countrywide electronically and I want to be a part of this amazing team.
