Sincerest Regrets

Sometimes, in the painted echoes of our lives, we leave behind those on the edges of our world. And only in the time of sorrow and loss, does the enormity of importance of these people dawn. And as we gaze up to the inky blackness of the night and tearfully count the stars, we have only ourselves to blame. For caring needs no opportunity, and love no reward, and it's the fault of the lover who fails to share, and who has no memories when they are gone. Forever.
