Is this what you think? What you know? What you feel? Is this really what you believe? Cos you've missed out a factor that plays a major part, and I can find it with all five senses.
See, it's the moon on the water, the waterfall falling, a baby in arms, a bird taking flight, a lingering kiss between a friend and her lover, and it's all there for you to see.
Listen, the waves crashing down on the shore in the distance, the steady breath of your lover beside you. A morepork at night, the birds in the trees and a voice that's been missing for years.
Smell the freshly mown grass, the scent of a rose, a faint breath that reminds you of him.
Taste a freshly plucked strawberry ripe from the sun, or the coolness of water when you're hot. Taste a meal that has taken you hours to cook, or a chocolate from that box you were given.
Feel a faint kiss goodnight, and the warmth of the fire, and the kick from a sip of liqueur. Feel the wind on your face, his hand within yours, and the feeling of knowing you're alive.
Sixth sense is knowing he will be there, when no one has told you so, or just knowing that he has just walked in the room, though you can't see him, or hear him as yet. Knowing she can hear, and she'd want you to say this, though you know she can't tell you anymore. Knowing this moment is somehow important, it's a moment you'll hold, and a time you will treasure. Forever.
You think that you know, well, do you know this? It's in every moment, each touch and each kiss, each smile and each time you're together. Don't blink or you'll miss it, just let go and live it, and life will bring beauty to you.
