30 years before there was A New Hope, there was The Phantom Menace

Amist the rising tension in the galaxy, Chancellor Valorum of the Republic Senate has assigned Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his young apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi to the planet of Naboo. The green world has been under a blockade set up by the Trade Federation, a corrupt organization run by cowards.

Queen Amidala of Naboo, a young monarch with a strong will, knows there is little that she can do to help her people alone. Only with the help of these two Jedi can the unlawful blackade be brought to an end, that is, if they can survive...

Meanwhile, on the remote planet of Tatooine, there is a young boy with a special gift. He is strong and confident, wise beyond his years. Each night, as he looks into the stars, he contemplates his dreams and tries to uncover his future ahead. Deep inside, he knows that there will be a day when he will do all the things he has dreamed of. His name is Anakin Skywalker, and one day, he knows... he will be someone.
