Check your smoke detector once a month!Our department originated in 1951. We are an all volunteer department that is only fire and rescue. The ambulance is a separate organization in which the fire department does respond on everything with them. We are operating on 25 members, this includes 1 female. Our coverage area is the Town of Frankton, all of Lafayette Twp. and half of Jackson Twp., which totals 61 sq. miles. Our apparatus consists of 1 Engine, 3 Tankers, 1 Rescue Truck, 1 Grass Truck and a rescue truck that we loan out to the Madison County Haz-Mat team.
