A ddichon gwraig gariadas gu?

(Ni'th anghofiaf, Sîon.)
A ddichon gwraig gariadas gu,
Anghofio baban bach ei bru?
  A gaiff yr hwn
      fu'n sugno'i bron,
  Ddim lle yn holl feddyliau hon?

Etto, medd Duw, pe felly doi
I famau'n ddidrugaredd droi,
  Byth ar fy nghalon Síon sai',
  Byth mae fy nghariad yn parhau.

Ar fy nwy law, mewn argraff llawn,
Rho'is enw hon yn ddwfn iawn;
  Cyfodaf ei hadfeiliog fur,
  Adferaf ei chysuron pur.

[Mesur: MH 8888]

(I will not forget thee, Zion.)
Is it possible for a dear, loving woman,
To forget the little baby of her womb?
  And will the one
      who was sucking her breast get
  No place in all her thoughts?

Yet, says God, if it should come thus
For mothers unmerciful to turn,
  Forever on my heart Zion shall stand,
  Forever my love is continuing.

On my two hands, in a full engraving,
I put this name very deeply;
  I will raise her ruined wall,
  I will renew her pure comforts.
