Achub Seion Arglwydd Iôr
Achub Seion Arglwydd mawr
Achub Sïon er dy glod

(Adeiladu Sion)
Achub Sïon, er dy glod,
  O'i chyfyngder;
Mae'r dydd nodedig wedi dod,
  Dyma'r amser;
Mae dy weision ger dy fron,
  Yn gofidio,
Ac yn hoffi meini hon,
  Gan dosturio.

Pan adeiladir hon drwy lwydd,
  Ar y ddaear;
Bydd Iesu Sanct a'i uchel swydd,
  Oll yn hawddgar:
Pawb a'i gwelant yn ei waith,
  Mewn gogoniant;
A'i eglwys fydd
    drwy'r ddaear faith,
  Yn ben moliant.

Tonau [7474D]:
Nebo (alaw Gymreig)
Rhos-Lan (Morris Davies 1796-1876)

(Building Zion)
Save Zion, for the sake of thy praise,
  From her straits;
The notable day has come,
  Now is the time;
Thy servants are before thee,
  Grieving,
And favouring these stones,
  While lamenting.

When this is to be built through success,
  On the earth;
Holy Jesus and his high office will be
  All beautiful:
Everyone shall see him in his work,
  In glory;
And his church shall be
    throughout the vast earth,
  At the head of praise.
::
for the sake of thy praise :: Sovereign Lord :: great Lord

tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion

(Zion being built)
Rescue Zion for Thy praise,
  From affliction;
Are not these the promised days
  Of salvation?
Lo, Thy servants for her sake
  Weep before Thee,
And their hearts with longing break,
  Lord, have mercy.

When Zion is built on high,
  In her glory,
Then Christ, who is now so nigh,
  Giving mercy,
Shall above the sky be King,
  And hosanna
Mingle with the song
    they sing,
  Halleluia.
