Addewid Crist dros byth a saif

(Saint yn llaw Crist)
Addewid Crist dros byth a saif,
  Yn hon y mae f'ymddiried;
Os yn llaw rasol Iesu 'rwyf,
  Ni chollir mwy fy enaid.

Anrhydedd Crist sy'n rhwym o'm plaid,
  Fe geidw'i ddefaid gwirion;
Yr oll a roes ei Dad dan sel,
  Fe'u ceidw'n ddiogel ddigon.

Angeu ni ddwg, nac uffern ddu,
  Mo'i ddeiliaid cu o'i ddwylaw;
Yn mynwes glyd yr Iesu glān,
  Dros byth y cān' orphwysaw.
Casgliad Samuel Roberts 1841

[Mesur: MS 8787]

(Saints in the hand of Christ)
The promise of Christ forever shall stand,
  In this is my trust;
If in the gracious hand of Iesus I am,
  Nevermore to be lost is my soul.

The honour of Christ is a bond on my side,
  He will keep his silly sheep;
All his Father gave him under a seal,
  He will keep them sufficiently safely.

Death shall not take, nor black hell,
  Any of his dear tenants from his hands;
In the cosy bosom of the holy Jesus,
  Forever they shall get to rest.
