Addfwyn Iesu, 'r Ceidwad mawr
Ddaeth o'r nefoedd wen i lawr,
  Derbyn fawl un bach fel fi,
  Am it farw drosom ni.
Addfwyn Iesu, cofio'r wyf
Iti ddioddef marwol glwyf,
  Ac it ddweud am blant fel ni,
  Y caent ddyfod atat Ti.

Addfwyn Iesu, gwêl yn awr
Blentyn wrth dy draed i lawr;
  Er mor fychan ydwyf fi,
  Gad im ddyfod atat Ti:
Gad im lechu wrth dy draed,
Golch fi, Iesu, yn dy waed:
  Rho i blentyn bychan le,
  Gyda Thi yn nheyrnas ne'.

Gentle Jesus, the great Saviour
Who came down from the bright heavens,
  Accept the praise of a small one like me,
  For thy dying for us.
Gentle Jesus, remembering I am
Thy suffering a mortal wound,
  And thy saying about children like us,
  Let them come to Thee.

Gentle Jesus, see now
A child down at thy feet;
  Although so small I am,
  Let me come to Thee:
Let me hide at thy feet,
Wash me, Jesus, in thy blood:
  Give a little child a place,
  With Thee in the kingdom of heaven.
