Addolwn Di Iachawdwr yma'n gudd

(Cymun Bendigaid)
Addolwn Di, Iachawdwr, yma'n gudd;
I'th eglur weled, agor lygad ffydd,
  Fel gallom ni a blygwn wrth dy draed
  Ymborthi ar dy ddirgel Gorff a'th Waed.

Diolchus gof o'i werthfawr angau Ef,
Y Bara bywiol ddaeth i lawr o'r nef;
  Ar hwn ymborthed ein heneidiau byth,
  A Thi, O! Grist, addolwn yn ddi-lyth.

Tragwyddol Fab y Tad, y ffynnon gaed
I olchi'r aflan,
    pura ni â'th Waed;
  Cryfha ein ffydd a'n gobaith,
      a mwynhawn
  Yr hedd a'r gobaith
      ynot Ti sy'n llawn.

O! Grist, dan len y gwelwn eilw gwan
O'th wyddfod yma -
    buan boed ein rhan
  I'th weled Di heb len,
      a chael mwynhad
  O'th bresenoldeb byth
      yn nhŷ ein Tad.

Tôn [MH 8888]: Navarre (Sallwyr Genefa 1551)

(Holy Communion)
We worship Thee, Saviour, here hidden;
Clearly to see thee, open the eye of faith,
  That we who bow at thy feet may
  Feed on thy secret Body and thy Blood.

The thankful memory of His precious death,
The living Bread who came down from heaven;
  On this let our souls forever feed,
  And Thee, O Christ, we worship sincerely!

Eternal Son of the Father, the fount had
To wash the unclean,
    purify us with thy Blood;
  Strengthen our faith and our hope,
      and we will enjoy
  The peace and the hope
      which in Thee is full.

O Christ, under a veil we see a weak image
Of thy presence here -
    soon may it be our portion
  To see Thee without a veil,
      and get the enjoyment
  Of thy presence forever
      in our Father's house.
tr. 2019 Richard B Gillion
