Addolwn Di O Arglwydd Dduw

Addolwn Di, O Arglwydd Dduw,
  Hyn yw ein gwaith rhesymol;
Mae genyt Ti bob cyfiawn hawl
  I'n clod a'n mawl gwastadol.

O'th flaen, mewn gostyngeiddrwydd llawn,
  Mae'n iawn i ni ddynesu;
Ac felly'n ufudd yr awr hon
  'R y'm ger dy fron yn plygu.

Dy berffeithderau, Arglwydd da,
  Mewn gallu a doethineb,
A gydnabyddwn - O, mewn hedd
  Rho ini wedd dy wyneb.

Am gyfoeth dy drugaredd rad,
  A'th gariad tuag atom
Yn nhrefn dy ras,
    rhown fawl o hyd
  Tra yn y byd y byddom.

Ac wedi cyraedd i'r wlad well,
  'R ol gado'r babell yma,
Cyduno wnawn ā'r dyrfa lān,
  Mewn cān o Haleliwia.

Glanceri (D Emlyn Evans 1843-1913)
Sabbath (John Williams 1740-1821)

We worship thee, O Lord God,
  This is our reasonable work;
Thou hast every righteous claim
  To our acclaim and our constant praise.

Before thee, in full humility,
  It is right for us to draw near;
And thus obedient this hour
  We are bowing in thy presence.

Thy perfections, good Lord,
  In power and wisdom,
And may we acknowledge - O, in peace
  Grant us the countenance of thy face.

For the wealth of thy gracious mercy,
  And thy love toward us
In the scheme of thy grace,
    may we continue to give praise
  While we are in the world.

And having reached the better land,
  After leaving this tent,
Let us unite with the holy throng,
  In a song of Hallelujah.
