Ai ffordd yw Crist? mae'n dwyn at Dduw
Rhwng liniau gwaed, mae'r llwybr gwiw;
  Mewn ffydd a zel af
      hyd-ddi'n syn,
  Nes esgyn fry i Sïon fryn.

Y drws yw ef, a thrwyddo'r af
I'r nefol werddlas borfa braf;
  Efe yw'r ddysglaer seren sydd
  Yn dwyn i'r enaid wawr y dydd.

Haul ydyw ef, gras yw ei byst,
Goleuni pur yw gyrfa Crist;
  Pan ymddangoso ymlid mae
  Gymylau'r saint,
      a'u llawenhau.

Is Christ the way?  he leads to God
Between lines of blood, the way is worthy;
  In faith and zeal I will go
    along it with surprise,
  Until ascending above to Zion hill.

The door is he, and through him I will go
To the heavenly good green pasture;
  His is the shining star that is
  Bringing to the soul the dawn of day.

Sun is he, grace are his posts,
Pure light is the course of Christ;
  When he appears he chases away
  The saints' clouds,
      and makes them rejoice.
