Am graig yr iachawdwriaeth

(Craig yr Oesoedd)
Am graig yr iachawdwriaeth
  Fy enaid egwan, cān;
Y sylfaen fawr dragwyddol,
  A'r hyfryd gongl-faen;
Fy noddfa rhag ystormydd,
  Fy nghysgod rhag y gwres;
Mae'n ganmil mwy rhagorol
  Na chedyrn furiau pres.

Y Graig na all gelynion
  Pe baent o rif y dail,
Fyth ddringo dros ei muriau
  Na chloddio dan ei sail.
Crist yw fy Nghraig dragwyddol
  Lle cefais guddio 'mhen,
Clod iddo ar ei filfed,
  Fy enaid cān! Amen!

  Am graig i adeiladu
  Fy Sylfaen fawr dragwyddol
  O Graig yr Iachawdwriaeth

(The Rock of the Ages)
About the rock of salvation
  My weak soul, sing!
The great eternal foundation,
  And the delightful corner-stone;
My refuge against the storms,
  My shade against the heat;
It is a thousand times superior
  To firm walls of brass.

The Rock that enemies could not
  If they were numerous as leaves,
Ever climb over its walls
  Nor mine under its foundation.
Christ is my eternal Rock
  Where I may hide my head,
Praise to him a thousand-fold,
  Sing, my soul! Amen!
