Anfeidrol Ior dyrchafu wnawn

Infinite God to Thee we raise

(Moli'r Drindod)
Anfeidrol Ior, dyrchafu wnawn
Ein calon it' o fawl yn llawn;
  Dy ryfedd waith ddatgana'th glôd,
  Wyt Arglwydd pawb,
      Anfeidrol Fôd;
Ymgrymwn ger dy orsedd rad,
Addolwn Di, drag'wyddol Dad.

Holl engyl nef fawrhânt eu Duw,
Can's Brenin nef a daear yw;
  Cerubiaid fyrdd ddyrchafant lef,
  Seraphiaid glân a'u molant Ef,
A "Sanct, Sanct, Sanct,"
    yw'r gydgan fawr,
"Dy glôd a leinw nef a llawr."

I'r patriarchiaid buost Dduw,
Arweinydd i'r prophwydi gwiw,
  A chwmni'r apostolion oll
  A gawsant ynot nawdd ddi-goll;
Ymuna seintiau oesau'r byd
I ganu'th fawl yn dorf yn nghyd.

Tad pob mawreddau,
    tarddle dawn,
I Ti y rhoddant foliant llawn;
  Mawrhânt y Mab mewn cyngan fyw,
  A chydnabyddant Ef yn Dduw;
Clodforant am yr Yspryd Glân,
Ddiddanydd nefol diwahan.

Tôn [88.88.88]: Stella/Stowell (alaw Seisnig)

(Praising the Trinity)
Infinite Sovreign, we do raise
Our heart to thee full of praise;
  Thy wonderful work declares thy acclaim,
  Thou art the Lord of all,
      an Infinite Being;
We bow before thy gracious throne,
We worship thee, eternal Father.

All the angels of heaven magnify their God,
Since the King of heaven and earth he is;
  A myriad cherubim raise a cry,
  Holy seraphim praise him,
And "Holy, Holy, Holy,"
    is the great chorus,
"Thy acclaim fills heaven and earth below."

To the patriarchs thou wast God,
A Guide to the worthy prophets,
  And the company of all the apostles
  Find in thee an unfailing refuge;
The saints of the world's ages unite
To sing thy praise as a throng together.

Father of all majesties,
    the source of gifting,
To thee they render full praise,
  They magnify the Son in a living chorus,
  And recognize him as God;
They extol about the Holy Spirit,
"Thou undivided, heavenly comforter."
tr. 2023 Richard B Gillion
(Te Deum Laudamus)
Infinite God, to Thee we raise
Our hearts in solemn songs of praise,
  By all Thy works on earth adored,
  We worship Thee,
    the common Lord;
The everlasting Father own,
And bow our souls before Thy throne.

Thee all the choir of angels sings,
The Lord of hosts, the King of kings;
  Cherubs proclaim Thy praise aloud,
  And seraphs shout the Triune God;
And, Holy, holy,
    holy, cry,
Thy glory fills both earth and sky!

God of the patriarchal race,
The ancient seers record Thy praise,
  The goodly apostolic band
  In highest joy and glory stand;
And all the saints and prophets join
To extol Thy majesty divine.

Father of endless majesty,
All might and love
    they render Thee;
  Thy true and only Son adore,
  The same in dignity and power;
And God the Holy Ghost declare,
The saints’ eternal Comforter.
Charles Wesley 1707-88
