At bwy yr awn O Arglwydd?

At bwy yr awn, O! Arglwydd,
  Ond atat Ti dy hun?
Darperi mewn helaethrwydd
  I gwrdd ag angen dyn;
Yr wyt yn gwrando gweddi
  Ddilafar gwaelion byd,
Gan agor mewn tosturi
  Dy enau dros y mud.

At bwy yr awn, O! Arglwydd
  Yn nydd cyfyngder mawr?
Pan fyddo storm euogrwydd
  Yn duo nef a llawr;
Ni gofiwn hen bwerau
  A ddofai'r gwynt a'r don,
O! Iesu cofia ninnau -
  Rho heddwch dan ein bron.

Yn ŵyneb twrf y bobloedd
  Ac ing cenhedloedd byd,
O! dwg derfysglyd luoedd
  Mewn cariad pur ynghyd;
O'n holl grwydradau bellach
  Trown atat Ti, ein Iôr,
Mae gair dy nerth yn gryfach
  Na chedyrn donnau'r môr.

To whom shall we go, O Lord,
  But to Thee thyself?
Thou preparest in generosity
  To meet with the need of man;
Thou art listening to the halting
  Prayer of the abject ones of the world,
While opening in mercy
  Thy mouth on behalf of the mute.

To whom shall we go, O Lord,
  In a day of great distress?
When a storm of guilt is
  Darkening heaven and earth;
We remember old powers
  Which would tame the wind and the wave,
O Jesus, remember us!
  Give peace under our breast.

In the face of a crowd of peoples
  And the anguish of a world's nations,
O bring tumultuous hosts
  In love together;
From all our wanderings henceforth
  Let us turn towards Thee, our Master,
The word of the strength is stronger
  Than the firm waves of the sea.
