Ar orsedd glaer yn unig Nêr

Lord of all being throned afar

(Y Creawdwr yn Achubydd)
Ar orsedd glaer yn unig Nêr,
D'ogoniant draidd o haul a sêr;
  Cynhaliol nerth pell
      fydoedd fry,
  Er hyn mor agos atom ni!

Haul bywyd pawb - Dy lewyrch sydd
Yn glawio ar ein llwybrau ddydd;
  Seren ein gobaith, dyner, dlos,
  Ein llonni wnei wrth wylio'r nos.

Arglwydd ein bywyd! cariad yw
D'oleuni, a gwirionedd byw:
  Gerbron Dy orsedd ddisglair Di,
  Na sonier am ein llewyrch ni.

Rhyddha ni â'th wirionedd glân;
Rh in' galonnau'n llawn o dân;
  Fel bo D'allorau Di, ein Duw,
  Yn llawn o sanctaidd ebyrth byw.

(The Creator as Saviour)
On a bright throne as an only Lord,
Thy glory penetrates from sun and stars;
  The supporting strength
      of distant worlds above,
  Although this so near to us!

The of everyone's life - Thy radiance is
Raining on our daily paths;
  The Star of our hope, tender, pretty,
  Does cheer us while watching the night.

Lord of our life, thy light is
Love, and living truth!
  Before Thy shining throne,
  Our radiance is not to be mentioned.

Free us with thy holy truth;
Give us hearts full of fire;
  That Thy altars be, our God,
  Full of holy living sacrifices.
tr. 2019 Richard B Gillion

Lord of all being, throned afar,
Thy glory flames from sun and star;
  Center and soul
      of every sphere,
  Yet to each loving heart how near!

Sun of our life, Thy quickening ray,
Sheds on our path the glow of day;
  Star of our hope, Thy softened light
  Cheers the long watches of the night.

Lord of all life, below, above,
Whose light is truth, whose warmth is love,
  Before Thy ever blazing throne
  We ask no luster of our own.

Grant us Thy truth to make us free,
And kindling hearts that burn for Thee,
  Till all Thy living altars claim
  One holy light, one heavenly flame.
