Er mwyn dy grog
    a'th angau drud

Pan fwy'n ŵynebu ymchwydd cryf
  Iorddonen ddofn ei lli,
A theithio'n unig drwy y glyn,

A'r pryd y deui yr ail waith,
  Mewn mawredd, parch, a bri,
I farnu'r byw a'r marw 'nghyd,
  O Dduw, na wrthod fi.

To one who hears the prayer of the weak
  I am raising my cry;
In every distress, anguish and pain,
  O God, do not reject me!

Although so unworthy of enjoying
  Thy presence,
And deserving to be cast from before thee,
  O God, do not reject me!

Whenever an acquaintance below the sky
  One depending upon me too much,
And relative and friend move away,
  O God, do not reject me!

Although guilty of saddening
  Thy Holy Spirit,
And tempting thy great patience,
  O God, do not reject me!

For the sake of thy gibbet
    and thy precious blood
  On the mount of Calvary,
And thy intense intercession in heaven,
  O God, do not reject me!

When I am facing the strong surge
  Of Jordan deeply in flood,
And journeying alone through the vale,
  O God, do not reject me!

And when thou shalt come the second time,
  In greatness, respect and honour,
To judge the living and the dead together,
  O God, do not reject me!

O Thou, from Whom all goodness flows,
  I lift my heart to Thee;
In all my sorrows, conflicts, woes,
  Dear Lord, remember me.

When groaning on my burdened heart
  My sins lie heavily,
My pardon speak, new peace impart;
  In love remember me.






Temptations sore obstruct my way,
  And ills I cannot flee:
O give me strength, Lord, as my day;
  For good remember me.

Distressed with pain,
    disease, and grief,
  This feeble body see;
Grant patience, rest, and kind relief:
  Hear and remember me.

If on my face, for Thy dear Name,
  Shame and reproaches be,
All hail reproach, and welcome shame,
  If Thou remember me.

The hour is near; consigned to death,
  I own the just decree;
"Saviour," with my last parting breath
  I'll cry, "Remember me."
