Bendigaid byth f'o enw'r Tad

Bendigaid byth f'o enw'r Tad,
  Am gariad cryf, anfeidrol, rhad;
Trwy hwn, yn awr, peth cysur ddaw,
  A hedd fel môr yn Nghanaan draw.

Gogoniant i'r Cyfryngwr mawr,
  O'i glwyfus gorff y llifai ' lawr
Ryw ffrydiau bywiol, coch eu gwedd,
  Yn llawn maddenant pur a hedd.

Bendithiwn rasol Ysbryd Duw,
  Am roi mewn calon ddrwg ei lliw
Bur ffynnon gras,
    sy'n llifo'n gry'
  I'r bywyd annherfynol fry.

Moliannwn, mwy, yn ddiwahan,
  Y Tad, ar Mab,
      a'r Ysbryd Glân,
Am gariad grymus, heb ei fath,
  Sy'n fôr heb waelod
      ac heb dra'th.

Truro (Psalmodia Evangelica 1789)

Blessed forever be the Father's name
  For strong, immeasurable, free love;
Through this, now, such comfort comes,
  And peace like a sea in yonder Canaan.

Glory to the great Mediator,
  From his wounded body would flow down
Some living streams, red its appearance,
  Full of pure forgiveness and peace.

Let us bless the gracious Spirit of God,
  For putting in an evil heart his image
'Tis a pure fountain of grace,
    that is flowing strongly
  To the unending live above.

Let us praise, evermore, undivided,
  The Father, and the Son,
      and the Holy Spirit,
For strong love, without compare,
  Which is a sea without a bottom
      and without a shore.
