Bydd lawen iawn ti Ferch Seion

(Llawenydd Merch Seion)

Bydd lawen iawn ti, Ferch Seion,
Bydd lawen iawn a chrechwena,
  Ferch Jerusalem,
Wele dy Frenin yn dyfod attat.
Cyfiawn ac Achybydd yw efe,

O Byrth dyrchefwch eich penau,
Ac ymddyrchefwch, Ddrysau Tragwyddol.

Y mae efe yn llariaidd
Ac yn marchogaeth ar ebol asyn,
Brenin y gogoniant a ddaw i mewn,
A Brenin y gogoniant a ddaw i mewn.

Pwy, pwy, pwy
  yw Brenin y gogoniant hwn?
Yr Arglwydd nerthol a chadarn mewn rhyfel.
Arglwydd y lluoedd yw efe,
Arglwydd y lluoedd
efe yw Brenin y gogoniant hwn.

Bendigedig yw'r Brenin sydd yn dyfod
  yn enw'r Arglwydd.

Deued y Brenin a gwrandawed
  ddeisyfiad ei weision
a'i bobl pan weddiant yn y tŷ hwn,
A dyweded yr holl bobl
  Haleliwia, Amen.

(The Joy of the Daughter of Zion)
Be thou joyful, Daughter of Zion,
Be joyful and laugh,
  Daughter of Jerusalem,
See thy King coming to thee.
Righteous and a Saviour is he,

O Portals lift up your heads,
And lift yourselves up, ye Eternal Doors.

He is humble
And riding on an ass's foal,
The King of glory shall come in,
And the King of glory shall come in.

Who, who, who
  is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty in battle.
The Lord of hosts is he,
The Lord of hosts -
he is this King of glory.

Blessed is the King who is coming
in the name of the Lord.

Let the King come and let him hear
  the supplication of his servants
and the people when they pray in this house,
And let all the people say
  Hallelujah, Amen.
