Bloeddiwch yn yr udgorn

(Dros yr Iesu)
Bloeddiwch yn yr udgorn,
  Wylwyr Seion wiw;
Dysgwch ni i ymladd
  Nawr ym myddin Duw:
Os mai ieuainc ydym,
  Dowch i'n paratoi,
Yna 'ngrym yr Iesu
  Gwnawn i'r gelyn ffoi.

    Brwydrwn dros yr Iesu,
      Safwn yn y ffydd;
    Gyda ni mae'r nefoedd -
      Mynnwn gario'r dydd!

Dacw'r gelyn creulon
  Atom yn neshau,
Gyda'i gnawdol arfau
  Er ein llwfwrhau:
Medd'dod a chenfigen,
  Pob peth brwnt a chas -
Unwn i'w gorchfygu,
  Digon yw Ei ras!

Gwisgwn yr arfogaeth,
  Fel y gallom oll
Sefyll yn y rhyfel,
  Heb fod un ar goll.
Helm yr iachawdwriaeth,
  Tarian gref y ffydd,
Gyda phob rhyw weddi -
  Dyna garia'r dydd!

Tôn [6565T]: Fron-Oleu
    (Dan Roberts, Rhosllanerchrugog.)

(For Jesus)
Call with the trumpet,
  Ye watchers of worthy Zion;
Teach us to fight
  Now in the army of God:
If we are young,
  Come to prepare us,
Then in the strength of Jesus
  We shall make the enemy flee.

    Let us fight for Jesus,
      Let us stand in the faith;
    With us is heaven -
      Let us insist on carrying the day!

Yonder is the cruel enemy
  Towards us approaching,
With their fleshly weapons
  To make us lose heart:
Drunkenness and envy,
  Everything filthy and detestable -
Let us unite to overcome them,
  Sufficient is his grace!

Let us put on the armour,
  That we may all
Stand in the war,
  Without one being lost.
The helmet of salvation,
  The strong shield of the faith,
With every kind of prayer -
  That shall carry the day!
tr. 2020 Richard B Gillion
