Bod anfeidrol yw'r Jehofa

1,(2),3.
(Ar Fawredd Duw)
Bod anfeidrol yw'r Jehofa,
  A'i breswylfa yn
      nef y nef,
Rhy oruchel, Ior gogoned,
  I ni ei amgyffred ef;
Tragywyddol, hollbresennol,
  Hollwybodol, - felly byth,
Tra'wydoldeb maith difesur,
  Ganddo lenwir yn ddilyth.

Uniawn ydyw ei lywodraeth,
  Sanctaidd, berffaith, ddoeth a da;
Ei holl ffyrdd sydd ogoneddus,
  Yn anweddus dim ni wna;
Pan ymwelo a'r annuwiol,
  Yma'n farnol am ei fai,
Hynny wna mor hardd ac addas,
  A rhoi o'i ras
      i'w anwyl rai.

O na allem gyd-dderchafu,
  A mawryga enw'r Iôn,
Ger ei fron yn ogoneddus,
  Gyd â dwys lafarus dôn;
Canmol, caru, anrhydeddu,
  Ei foliannu ac iddo fyw;
Boed ein henaid mewn hyfrydwch
  Yn syllu ar hawddgarwch Duw.

(On the Greatness of God)
An infinite being is Jehovah,
  And his residence in
      the heaven of heaven,
Too supreme, a Lord so glorious,
  For us to comprehend him;
Eternal, omnipresent,
  Omniscient, - thus forever,
A vast, immeasurable eternity,
  Is filled by him unfailingly.

Upright is his government,
  Holy, perfect, wise and good;
All his ways are glorious,
  Unseemly anything we do;
When he visits the ungodly,
  Here judgmental about their fault,
This makes so beautiful and suitable,
  And gives from his grace
      to his beloved ones.

O that we could exalt together,
  And magnify the name of the Lord,
Before him glorious,
  With an intense, loud tune;
Praise, love, honour,
  To extol him and live for him;
May our souls be in delight
  Gaze upon the beauty of God.
